Next Steps
Faith in, and a relationship with, Jesus Christ is a journey. As long as we are living on this Earth, there is something to learn and ways in which we grow. We believe that
1)through accepting Jesus Christ we're saved from the penalty of sin
2) as we grow in Christ we are saved from the practice of sin
and
3) when we pass from this life to be with Christ we are saved from the presence of sin.
We extend a sincere invitation for you to respond to what God may be stirring in your heart. No matter where you are on your journey, from not knowing Jesus at all, to knowing Him and seeking to come back to a right relationship with Him, or in right relationship but seeking to go deeper, we're here to walk with you through it.
1. Salvation
Starting a relationship with Jesus
Saying yes to Jesus Christ means accepting Him as your Lord and Savior and trusting Him to forgive your sins and guide your life. When we are saved, we are welcomed into the family of God as His children, no longer JUST His creation.
• If you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. - Romans 10:9
• Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. - 2 Corinthians 5:17
•But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name. He gave the right to become children of God. -John 1:12
2. Rededication
Coming back Home
Maybe you’ve already said “yes” to Christ—but life took some unexpected turns, and you’ve found yourself feeling distant. If that’s you, please know you’re not alone. God’s arms are still open, and it’s never too late to come back home. (Luke 15: 11-32, the story of the Prodigal Son)
Rededication is simply a moment of saying, “God, I’m ready to return to You.” It’s a new beginning—a chance to realign your heart and walk closely with Him again. And if you’re in that place today, we’re here to walk alongside you as you reconnect with God’s purpose for your life.
• For this is Gods will for you, your sanctification. - 1 Thessalonians 4:3a
• Draw closer to God, and He will draw closer to you. -James 4:8a
• If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. -1 John 1:9
3. Assurance
Being secure in your understanding of salvations
Many people question and wonder "Am I really saved?" It is okay to have questions, (we highly encourage them!) and we want to help you find clarity and peace.
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. -1 John 5:13
To be assured in salvation is to have confidence in God's promises and the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross. As you stay connected through worship, bible study, prayer & fasting, your faith will grow stonger, and your doubts will grow smaller.
